ABOUT LISA

Lisa Morrison began her real estate career nearly 24 years ago. Within the first ten months of being licensed she was titled “Rookie of The Year” proving her natural abilities in the real estate field.

While Lisa always remains an ambitious hard worker, it has been her consistent enthusiasm, dedication and persistence that set her apart. Her ability to recognize the needs of her clients and “Making the Match” is her trademark!

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Lisa rose to new heights specializing in vintage homes of distinction in Litchfield, New Haven and Fairfield County, Connecticut. She also took an interest in new construction during the building boom in the 80’s. Lisa represented several builders with large development projects and saw them through from inception to completion. She had a clear understanding of the process assisting with home design and general contracting. Throughout her sales career she maintained award-winning status reaching Platinum levels within the company.

Lisa later became a trainer and recruiter for several companies and eventually gained the position of manager. As manager, she simultaneously oversaw nine offices with over 100 sales associates. Lisa was instrumental in dominating the markets she managed and maintained top market share particularly in the luxury arena.

COMMUNITY

Her interest quickly moved on to real estate investments and she mainly targeted Newport, Rhode Island. Lisa purchased homes in Newport and additionally brought several of her Connecticut and New York contacts to invest as well. Lisa believes that Newport is a diamond in the rough! With the sailing community, colleges and tourism coupled with the close proximity to New York, Connecticut and Boston an investor cannot lose!

ABOUT CHRISTINE

Chrissie is a third generation Native Newporter. After raising 2 children in Newport while working at both “Sig’s” and being employed with the Newport School Department for the past 20 years, she has now joined Coldwell Banker and “The Newport Group”.

Chrissie knows houses. For over 20 years she has worked along side her husband in the general contracting/construction business helping oversee new construction, renovations, as well as other associated trades. Being no stranger to the housing industry combined with having exceptional history involving public relations, Chrissie’s solid work ethic and determination is the key to your success!

ABOUT CAROLINE

Caroline spent 12 years as a venture capitalist in New York and Boston. An entreprenuer at heart, she has bought and sold several properties and has helped to launch several businesses. As a graduate of Salve Regina, making Newport her fulltime home was an easy transition. Her love of Aquidneck Island, real estate and helping people achieve thier goals, makes her a great addition to The Newport Group. 

ABOUT KEELIN

Keelin started her career as a software developer and computer specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Providence College. She has a great passion for the arts and architecture so she wenton to get her Master’s degree in Architecture and Design from the New jersey Institue of Technology.

She has had the pleasure of working for a prominent design/build firm in Southeastern Connecticut where she specialized in high end residential design and construction. Her experience includes all aspects of design, detailing, contracting and building luxury homes. She just recently finished designing and general contracting her own home with attention to every detail. So needless to say, she knows her houses.

Keelin also spent years as a quality assurance engineer for one of the largest software companies catering to the design and building industry.

Keelin owns a number of properties in the Newport area and has become very experienced in the exciting investment and rental markets of Newport and the surrounding areas. Keelin is heading up The Newport Group’s Rental Division so if you are looking for a rental or have a rental, she is the one!

Keelin and her husband moved to Newport eight years ago because they love to sail,love the beaches, love the architectural gems of Newport and the lifestyle this island affords. She now has two children and they enjoy this wonderful town.
